I an directed by the Board of Trade to acknowledge

the receipt of your letter of the 3rd instant, forwarding

a copy of an Ordinance styled "The Dangerous Goods

Amendment Ordinance, 1901 enacted by ba Legislatı,re

of Hong Kong, together with e pies of the three Ordinances

which it anemis, and inquiring shether the Board see

any objection to the alteration of the la effented

by Section 3 of Ordinance 34 of 1901.

The Board of Trade observe that the dection in

question proposes bu substitute "phosphorus" for "aqua

fortis" and "vitriol" as substances hich shall be

deemed to be dangerous goods, and they desire to point

out that aqua fortis and vitriol are classed as Dangerous

Goods
